The first children's liturgy of the Word was celebrated in the parishon 28th April 1996. Its aim is to
provide the children of God with their own simplified and yet dignified liturgy of the Word, so that the
Word of God becomes a natural, integrated and important part of their daily lives.
Each Sunday morning at the 10:45am mass, the parish hall becomes 'the little church' during which
the children between the ages of five to ten are invited to listen to God's Word in their own
language and space, made relevant to their daily experiences. Innovative use of music, puppets, drama,
posters, role-play, cartoons and other activities makes the celebration interesting and lively yet meaningful and alive.
